Abstract
This fable places the Michoacán female revolutionary dancers in dialogue with the renowned Mexican poet Octavio Paz, allowing the women to reveal to him key aspects of the cultural worlds they helped devise, aspects they embodied in their illicit dance in the church. Most particularly, the fable trains Paz in Mexican female temporality, a temporality they recalibrated as they danced.
