Biography and/or project
My interest lies in the history of western historiography with emphasis on the reception of antiquity. I have recently finished my PhD study at the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany. My PhD thesis is focused on comparing J. G. Droysen with Jacob Burckhardt regarding their reception of Greek antiquity.
