Biography and/or project
My research interests cohere around the theory and philosophy of history, and how these intersect with public understandings of the role and purpose of history in contemporary global society. My PhD thesis explored the possibilities for developing historical understanding across epistemologies by considering how ideas of justice can and ought to inform contemporary historical praxis. I am currently a full time research officer working in the School of Education at Charles Sturt University, Australia.
