Biography and/or project
My research area is historical theory and historiography. Recently, I am working on a historiographical project that focuses on a pre-modern Chinese intellectual under a perspective of knowledge production, in which I aim to find out how modern Chinese and Western scholars appropriate the intellectual's ideas in various contexts.
